Though Jacques has lived in Lille for 23 years, he doesn’t have a clue which hotel is good, and which is not (he’s never had the need to know). But, he does know that for those who’d like to take the time to visit Lille and don’t want to rent a car, the best thing to do is to get a hotel in Lille itself. As such, Jacques’ parents are recommending “La Treille Hotel”. It’s in a great location – 10 minutes away from most of Lille’s historical, cultural and shopping centers. AND, it’s only 2 minutes away from a bus-stop that goes straight to Wambrechies (which by the way, is where the wedding reception is being held).
For those who are a little more adventurous and plan to rent a car, they can try some regional bed & breakfasts. No recommendations here; you will have to trust the website and your gut instinct. The links to check:
